Established Restaurant Moves & Installs Toshiba TEC FS-3700
Hamilton, Ontario: The Oak Cafe Restaurant reopened on Monday, October 2nd to eager customers ready to try out the cafe's new locale, in Jackson Square. The downtown mall on King Street West in Hamilton has been the successful home of the cafe for several years. Originally, Oak Cafe was located on the second floor of the Standard Life building adjoining the Jackson Square. The new location offers a large open-air dining area right next to an indoor waterfall and is next to the vaulted gardens of the Standard Life building that used to be Oak Cafe's home. Customers are able to order quick snacks at the counter or sit down for meals in the bright and relaxing table area.
Expecting a higher level of traffic in the new location, and expecting that to turn into more sales, Oak Cafe Restaurant Owner, Greg Miklaszewski, consulted with Armagh Cash Register on a touch screen solution that could as easily handle over-the-counter quick service, as well as a full service restaurant. Ultimately, the Toshiba TEC FS-3700 touch screen restaurant system was selected, easily accomodating the expanded menu, QSR and full table service in the new operation.
Congratulations to Oak Cafe on a beautiful location and successful opening!
